Over the years we’ve had a chance to collaborate with some amazing chefs to create custom knives that honor their food culture and style. Well, we are back at it with another collab and are so excited it is with our friend, Chef Ilan Hall. 

Meet the Lil Hammer Knife. 

This 6” full tang knife is perfect for all around prepping and pays homage to the knives Ilan used to give contestants on his reality cooking show Knife Fight with the words “I Won” on them.

The Lil Hammer is the perfect chopper with alternating pink and gray scales. After talking with Ilan and designing this knife I realized it looked like one of the forging hammers I made a few years ago- perfect! We’re very excited to release these knives and are honored to be collaborating with such a great chef and friend. If that wasn’t good enough, the first 10 knives come with an original watercolor drawing and 10% of the proceeds will go to Ilan’s charity of choice: Doctors Without Borders.  Come on man, stop playing…You Won!

The esteemed "Top Chef" victor, has woven a rich tapestry with his culinary endeavors.  Hall's pursuit of gastronomic excellence led him from the rolling hills of Tuscany, where he honed his craft, to the esteemed halls of the Culinary Institute of America.

Hall’s legacy is deeply intertwined with his groundbreaking restaurants; The Gorbals in downtown LA and Brooklyn, Esh, and Ramen Hood at LA's Grand Central Market - each a beacon of culinary creativity and communal dining.

As a chef, he's not just about the food; he's a storyteller and innovator. His television appearances as host and producer of shows like "Knife Fight" and "Food to Get You Laid" showcase his charismatic engagement with the culinary world.
