Chef Knife - Forged Integral Blade

This Integral Chef knife is forged out of a 1” round bar approximately 4” long, and it’s called an Integral Chef Knife because the blade flows out of the bolster of the knife transitioning into the handle. This particular style of knife highlights blacksmithing as a true manipulation of the mass. The steel is heated to a temperature so that it's malleable like clay. However, unlike clay, where you can use your hands to pinch, stretch, and move the material, the steel is too hot to touch, so a hammer and anvil technique is applied to move the steel while in this plastic-like state.

Carbon steel will patina over time. Keep this stunner out of the dishwasher and wipe it dry after each use.
