Feder Knives X Bob Morano

I'm thrilled to announce our collaboration with Bob Morano — @everydayisfeastday. Bob is a passionate professional chef based in the Hudson Valley who creates short, straightforward content focused on approachable recipes and easy-to-understand cooking techniques.

A while back, I made Bob a custom chef knife based on what he’d been using in his kitchen. After putting it to the test, we decided to collaborate on a knife that brings our shared ideas to life.

We designed this knife together with both professional chefs and home cooks in mind. It’s meant to be a true all-around workhorse - high-performing, low-maintenance, and well-balanced in the hand. We made some key adjustments to the profile to dial in both performance and ease of upkeep.

The result is an 8” K-Tip made from AEBL stainless steel with a 1.75” heel. It features a laminated G10 handle with blue and green scales, purple liners, an orange accent stripe, and brass hardware. Bob came by the shop to check out the batch, and we’re both really excited to finally release them.

We’re shipping the first batch as they go and will build more to order.
10% of all sales will be donated to Sparrow’s Nest - a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that delivers homemade meals to individuals and families undergoing cancer treatment.
